The Commission approved changes to Rule 002: Service Quality and Reliability Performance Monitoring and Reporting for Owners of Electric Distribution Systems and for Gas Distributors on December 16, 2020.   • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

    AUC staff is currently in the process of reviewing Rule 002 and would like to seek stakeholder input on the proposed changes to the rule through survey questions. The proposed changes are:

    1. Removal of Section 4.1.6 Tariff bill file rejection response timing.
    2. Removal of Section 4.1.7 Tariff bill file dispute resolution timing.
    3. Removal of Section 4.6.3 Complaint response.
    4. Removal of Section 5.1.6 Tariff bill file rejection response timing.
    5. Removal of Section 5.1.7 Tariff bill file dispute resolution timing.
    6. Removal of Section 5.4.3 Complaint response.
    7. Addition of Section 6 Performance categories for electric and gas distributors. For the purposes of this section, we are using the following definition:

      “distributor” has the meaning ascribed to the term in the Electric Utilities Act or in the Gas Utilities Act, as applicable, including rural electrification associations and municipally-owned electric utilities.
