The Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) opened an engagement as part of its review of Rule 024: Rules Respecting Micro-Generation. The engagements’ goal was to gather input on information requirements for extraordinary cost disputes and identify opportunities to improve the microgeneration application and connection process, particularly for larger microgeneration projects. The AUC issued Bulletin 2026-10-Amended with an extended timeline, which was September 8, 2026.
